Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences Research (CHSSR)

The Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences Research (CHSSR) is an internal organization that serves as an institute. its prime objective is to contribute to society and aspires to make a positive difference through its initiatives. It gives research fellowship and grants to selected candidates, solely designed for Mizo applicants.

Currently CHSSR is funding one researcher to advance independent studies in the humanities and social sciences related to Mizoram.

CHSSR Research Grant 2025 is awarded to Remruatkima. As a recipient of this award, Remruatkima will pursue his research under the mentorship of Dr. Laithangpuii, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of History, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, The ICFAI University Mizoram.
